Do they help cushion under front of foot area ie metatarsals: Hi Shirley, Our FLEX have cushioning throughout the entire insole. There is no specific metatarsal focused cushioning that is different from the rest of the cushioning of this insole.

My son is 11 years old and gets some pain in his ankles/achilles/arches, particularly when walking/running for a while. His chiropractor says he has quite flat arches and has suggested some superfeet orthotics for his school shoes.
